School Psychologist - Thibodaux, LA

• Masters or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
• Valid and current certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in administering cognitive, behavioral, and academic assessments
• Solid understanding of IEP processes, multi-tiered systems of support, and special education law
• Strong communication skills to collaborate with school staff, parents, and students
• Compassion, patience, and adaptability when working with diverse student populations

• Conduct student evaluations and interpret assessment data to guide interventions
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop effective strategies supporting student success
• Participate in IEP meetings, providing expert recommendations for accommodations and supports
• Offer individual and group counseling to assist with emotional, behavioral, and academic needs
• Consult with parents and caregivers to support student development and well-being
• Maintain accurate records and ensure documentation complies with district, state, and federal guidelines
