Material Coordinator I - Material Planning And Control // Nonconforming Materials Coordinator

Thibodaux, LA - 70301 Duration: 09 Months (possible extension) 1st Shift: Monday – Thursday, 7:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Fridays - 7:00 AM - 11:00 AM

OT hours will be requested if needed.

Metatarsal safety boots required on their first day - will provide all other PPE.

Familiarity with Thibodaux manufacturing processes; primaries, weld, paint, and assembly.

Understanding of nonconforming material processes.

Knowledge of basic analysis techniques such as percentages, pareto charts, control charts, etc.

Ability to drive fork truck and Gator/golf cart to move nonconforming material.

Ability to lift 35 lbs.

Support factory manufacturing operations by segregating and facilitating the disposition of nonconforming materials to ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and internal procedures.

This role works closely with quality, operations, and supply chain teams to resolve nonconformances efficiently and prevent recurrence.

Ensure proper segregation, labeling, and containment of nonconforming products to prevent unintended use.

Maintain control of the nonconforming material areas.

Update and maintain records pertaining to nonconforming material and corrective action status.

Review disposition input from others to ensure required data is present and complete.

Perform necessary activities related to disposition of materials; rework, repair, scrap, return to vendor.

Compile and distribute periodic reports of corrective action activity.

Accomplish quality and organization mission by performing other duties as needed.
