Details: Contract with ongoing need, opportunity for direct hire, fully onsite role

Job SummaryThe Quality Inspector I performs inspections of components, assemblies, and finished products to ensure compliance with engineering specifications, quality standards, and customer requirements. This role supports manufacturing operations by identifying quality issues, documenting inspection results, investigating defects, and collaborating with production, engineering, and quality teams to drive corrective actions and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities- Perform visual, dimensional, and functional inspections of components, weldments, assemblies, and finished products.
- Verify compliance with engineering drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Identify, document, and help resolve nonconforming products through corrective and preventive actions.
- Record inspection results and maintain quality documentation within quality systems.
- Support root cause investigations, quality improvements, and process audits.
- Communicate quality concerns and inspection findings with production, engineering, and quality teams.
- Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment.
- High School Diploma, GED, NCRC, or equivalent required.
- Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience may be considered in lieu of educational requirements.
- Experience in quality inspection, manufacturing, fabrication, welding, or assembly environments preferred.
- Experience with quality management systems such as SAP or similar platforms preferred.
- Quality inspection and measurement techniques
- Blueprint, drawing, and weld symbol interpretation
- Root cause analysis and problem solving
- Quality documentation and reporting
- Manufacturing and assembly process knowledge
- SAP or quality management system experience
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
