Pile Driver

Qualifications:

• A High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
• Previous experience with pipe piles, sheet piles, h-piles, and concrete piles preferred.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Promotes, executes and adheres to the company's Health, Safety, and Environmental program.
• Safely installs steel, concrete, timber, sheet, pipe, and other types of piles in accordance with project specifications.
• Assists with the layout, positioning, alignment, and installation of piles.
• Reads and interprets project plans, drawings, specifications, and pile-driving requirements.
• Inspects equipment, tools, rigging, and work areas before beginning operations.
• Sets up, assembles, and dismantles pile-driving equipment and associated components.
• Operates cranes and other heavy equipment as qualified and directed.
• Monitors pile alignment, depth, location, and installation to ensure accuracy and quality.
• Works closely and maintains communication with crew members, operators, foremen, surveyors, and Project Managers.
• Uses hand and power tools to assist with pipe preparation, cutting, splicing, welding, and installation as required.
• Identifies and reports unsafe conditions, damaged equipment, or potential hazards to supervision.
• Operates equipment on public roadways as necessary, maintaining proper awareness of one's surroundings.
• Performs routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the equipment.
• Performs other duties or tasks as required based on company's needs.
