Position Overview
Schedule:
Monday - Friday 7:30am - 4:00pm
The Accounting Associate provides diversified administrative duties for the department, organizing, managing, and carrying out administrative tasks. This essential onsite role requires regular onsite attendance.
Responsibilities- Prepare, scan and validate documents; ensuring compliance within set business guidelines.
- Review and process confidential and extremely time‑sensitive applications.
- Maintain a high degree of quality control and validation of the completed work.
- Ensure operating and quality standards are met based on service levels.
- Take on additional responsibilities from the area Supervisor/Manager.
- Support Accounting & Finance as needed.
- Participate in administrative staff meetings and attend other meetings.
- Take notes that help execute activities that result from Accounting efforts.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- 0 to 1 year of experience in data processing, document management, & customer engagement.
- Ability to operate computer workstation hardware and software.
- Basic to intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Base understanding of the various functions of Digi‑Key and the industry it operates in.
- Ability to assist with entry‑level invoice processing and data entry tasks.
- Generally spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices such as keyboard, mouse and screen.
- Generally spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of the body.
The starting base pay rate for this position is $19.00.
