Lead Therapist Requirements & Responsibilities- Graduate of an accredited program in Physical Therapy, Physical Therapist Assistant, Occupational Therapy, or Occupational Therapy Assistant.
- Licensed and in good standing in the state of practice.
- Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Deliver skilled therapy services within the scope of licensure (PT, PTA, OT, or OTA) in accordance with physician orders and individualized plans of care
- Assist the DOR or RVP with daily therapy operations, acting as the point of contact in their absence.
- Collaborate on clinical program development to meet patient needs and facility goals.
- Foster positive working relationships with facility nursing, administration, and interdisciplinary team (IDT) members.
