The Receiving Associate processes all inbound product, verifies manufacture part numbers, quantities and other part information, and ensures the highest quality product is available for Digi Key’s customers.
Responsibilities- Open freight and verify manufacturer part number on product against supplier pack list, ensuring the count is accurate and product is not damaged.
- Verify and receive into the software system the quantities, package type, date/lot code and tracking information.
- Attach and marry Inbound License Plate Number (iLPN) to tray or pallet.
- Move and place large product onto pallets in the appropriate pickup area for the receiving support assistant to process.
- Actively participate as a team member to meet departmental goals.
- Perform other duties as assigned, including but not limited to possible reallocation of efforts to other organizations per business need and management request.
- May be cross‑trained into other PDC areas as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Basic computer navigation and typing skills.
- Must be self‑motivated and stay focused on the work that needs to be completed.
- Adhere to high quality levels.
- Ability to provide a positive, professional and enthusiastic outlook or perspective.
- Demonstrated ability to multi‑task and quickly shift focus based on requests by employees/management.
- Able to solve problems quickly and efficiently.
- Spatial recognition (ability to re‑palletize parts based on space constraints).
- Dependable, responsible contributor committed to excellence and success.

- Recursively lift 5–10 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs and rarely up to 77+ lbs (with assistance).
- Spend 8–10 hours walking/standing on concrete.
- General repetitive motions involving hands, head, and other parts of the body.
The starting base pay rate for this position is $20.00 per hour. Shift differentials apply for evening/night and 3‑12 shifts. A sign‑on bonus of $5,000 and relocation assistance up to $7,500 may be available for eligible roles.
