About the Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) for a long-term opportunity providing onsite healthcare within an employee health clinic at a distribution center.
This position offers a consistent weekday schedule, manageable patient volume, and the opportunity to work alongside an established clinical team while providing primary, acute, and occupational healthcare to an adult employee population.
What You’ll DoProvide comprehensive primary and same-day care to adult patients.
Evaluate and treat common illnesses, acute conditions, and minor injuries.
Assess and manage minor work-related injuries and workers’ compensation cases within clinic scope.
Perform physical examinations, assessments, diagnosis, treatment, and follow-up care.
Order and interpret appropriate laboratory and diagnostic testing.
Prescribe medications and develop individualized treatment plans.
Provide preventive care, wellness counseling, and patient education.
Determine when patients require specialist, emergency department, or outside-provider referrals.
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
Collaborate with an onsite team including another NP, two RNs, and an LPN
.
Follow established clinical protocols, safety standards, and employee-health policies.
QualificationsCurrent, unrestricted NP or PA license in the state of practice.
Appropriate national NP or PA certification
.
Current BLS certification
.
Experience in primary care, family medicine, urgent care, occupational health, or employee health strongly preferred
.
Comfortable independently evaluating and treating adult patients.
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and documentation skills.
Patient Volume: Approximately 2 patients per hour
