Full-Time Day Shift - $21.00 starting rate ($20.00 base pay and $1.00 allowance)
Full-Time Evening/Overnight Shift - $24.00 starting rate ($20.00 base pay, $1.00 allowance, and $3.00 shift differential)
Full-Time 3-12 Shift – $ 23.34 starting rate ($20.00 base pay, $1.00 allowance, and $2.34 allowance for the 36 for 40 schedule)
Part-Time - $20.00 starting rate ($19.00 base pay and $1.00 allowance)
Seasonal Day Shift - $20.00 starting rate ($19.00 base pay and $1.00 allowance)
Seasonal Evening Shift - $23.00 starting rate ($19.00 base pay, $1.00 allowance, and $3.00 shift differential)

Position Overview:

The Supplier Returns Associate focuses primarily on processing non-conforming and failure analysis tags in a timely and efficient manner. This role works with numerous departments within Digi Key and with the suppliers to ensure proper credits are taken. This is considered an essential onsite role, which requires regular onsite attendance.

Due to the length of training 1 year commitment to this role is required.

You must have a job shadow in the Supplier Returns area prior to applying if you are an internal applicant.

Monday
- Friday, 7:30 A.M - 4:00 P.M.Responsibilities:

Log, track and return nonconforming product

Assist with Conforming Returns and Scraps Work with external suppliers and internal Supplier Service Representatives to obtain RMAs (Return Material Authorizations)
Coordinate with PDC to pack and return product to suppliers

Serve as one of the primary Digi Key points of contact to assigned Suppliers Build and maintain strong and effective business relationships

Work with Suppliers to obtain failure analysis on product when requested, analyze reports, and resolve outcome for customer

Prepare reports summarizing status of nonconforming product

Assist Supplier Return and Supplier Quality Coordinators with returns and deliver product to shipping

Assist with Exceptions from departments such as Receiving Review & understand parameters within Supplier contracts and resolve warranty issues

Resolve any discrepancies resulting from Supplier rejection of invoice

Responsible for collecting estimates or costs to accurately price customer repair quotes

Expedite movement of parts between Suppliers, customers, and PDCWork with Trade Compliance team during Shipments to ensure adhering to local, state, country laws Facilitates product replacements from Suppliers Process all product shipped to Digi Key in error

Process and hold all suspected counterfeit products

Work with the Haz Review Team to catalogue hazardous material appropriately before disposal

Scrap product per Digi Key policies and procedures

Restore product to stock

Verify Credit memos from Suppliers regarding Non-Conforming Returns match so A/P can process.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience High School diploma or GEDMust have excellent number association skills

Excellent typing and computer navigation skills

Proficient in Microsoft Exchange/Outlook Competent knowledge of email etiquette

Demonstrated ability to multi-task as well as the ability to change focus quickly based on requests by employees/management

Ability to actively participate as a team member in order to meet departmental goals
