Pallet Picking Specialist – Returns Support
The Pallet Picking Specialist – Returns Support is responsible for a variety of duties that contribute to the daily success of the Returns Support functions within PDC. These duties primarily include picking large quantities and transporting product to appropriate warehouse locations and various duties as assigned. This is an essential onsite role, requiring regular onsite attendance.
Schedule:
Monday – Friday, 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
- Locate, retrieve, and move product in a timely manner from location to location or from pallets or crates for storage or shipment and to production workers, shipping and receiving areas.
- Use of Stock Picker may require going up 30 feet to pick parts for returns.
- Transport non-conveyable product to an area where it can be actioned or conveyable product that needs to be actioned using an RF device in a timely manner.
- Assist, when needed, in locating product to be expedited.
- Pick parts in an assigned zone quickly and accurately to fulfill return requests.
- Operate and adhere to all Power Industrial Vehicles (PIV) policy and equipment rules with limited supervision; includes Stock Chasers, Order Picker, Turret Trucks, Forklifts, Ride on Pallet Jacks.
- Actively participate as a team member to meet departmental goals.

- High School Diploma or GED.
- Acquire and maintain forklift certification (provided by Digi-Key).
- Regular and exemplary use of Order Picker, Turret Truck, 8900 (motorized pallet cart), and Forklifts.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Basic computer navigation and typing skills.
- Positive, professional, and enthusiastic outlook.
- Ability to multitask and change focus quickly based on requests by employees/management.
- Quick problem solving and collaboration with peers and leaders.
- Time management to keep flow of parts and orders moving throughout the building.

- Perform repetitive motions affecting hands, head, and other parts of body throughout workday.
- Spend 8–10 hours walking or standing on concrete.
- Routinely lift 5–10 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs, rarely up to 77+ lbs with lift assistance.
- Push boxes up to 50 lbs from heavy box lift to conveyor.
- Twist or bend and occasionally climb stairs.
- Reach hands and arms above shoulder level.
- Starting base pay rate: $20.00.
- May be eligible for shift, skill, and/or team lead pay differentials in addition to the starting base pay.
- Full-Time Day Shift: $21.00 starting rate (base $20.00 + $1.00 allowance).
- Full-Time Evening/Overnight Shift: $24.00 starting rate (base $20.00 + $1.00 allowance + $3.00 shift differential).
- Full-Time 3-12 Shift: $23.34 starting rate (base $20.00 + $1.00 allowance + $2.34 allowance for 36 for 40 schedule).
- Part-Time: $20.00 starting rate (base $19.00 + $1.00 allowance).
- Seasonal Day Shift: $20.00 starting rate (base $19.00 + $1.00 allowance).
- Seasonal Evening Shift: $23.00 starting rate (base $19.00 + $1.00 allowance + $3.00 shift differential).
