Our client, a reputable independent garage in Thirsk, is seeking an experienced Specialist Vehicle Technician to become part of their expanding team.
This is an excellent opportunity for skilled technicians looking to work in a professional environment that combines advanced diagnostics, complex repairs, and a focus on specialised vehicle work.

Benefits- Basic salary up to approximately £38,000
- No weekend work;
Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, with an hour for lunch - Bonus paid on work brought in via referrals

- Perform repairs, diagnostics, and servicing on various vehicles as a Vehicle Technician
- Undertake major engine and electrical system repairs
- Conduct detailed diagnostic checks to identify faults
- Inspect vehicles for general wear and tear
- Execute advanced tasks such as tuning, retrofitting, and engineering modifications
- Complete complex repairs for high-performance and specialised vehicles as a Vehicle Technician
- Adhere to health and safety regulations and maintain high standards of workmanship
- Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Repair/Technician or equivalent
- Proven experience working within a garage or main dealership environment
- Excellent technical knowledge and diagnostic skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Own set of tools for vehicle repairs
- Experience in the areas of retrofitting, engine modifications, tuning, or race work is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
