Technical Patent Writer

Trydan Tech is seeking a Technical Patent Writer with dual expertise in scientific research and intellectual property law. This role bridges the gap between R&D and legal protection, ensuring our innovations are documented, safeguarded, and strategically positioned in global markets.

Key Responsibilities
1.
Patent Drafting & Filing

• Prepare, draft, and file patent applications for scientific and technical innovations.

• Translate complex technical concepts into clear, legally compliant patent documents.

Scientific Analysis

• Collaborate with R&D teams to understand inventions in renewable energy, EV technology, and software systems.

• Conduct prior art searches and technical literature reviews.
3.
Legal Compliance

• Ensure patent applications meet international IP standards (USPTO, EPO, WIPO, Indian Patent Office).

• Liaise with external patent attorneys and legal advisors.
4.
Portfolio Management

• Maintain and update Trydan Tech's patent portfolio.

• Track deadlines, renewals, and legal proceedings.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Work with engineers, scientists, and executives to align IP strategy with business goals.

• Provide training and guidance on IP awareness to internal teams.
Qualifications

• Education
oAdvanced degree in Engineering/Science (Electrical, Mechanical, Computer Science, or related).
oLaw degree (LLB/LLM) or equivalent specialization in Intellectual Property Law.

• Experience
o5+ years in patent drafting, prosecution, and IP portfolio management.
oProven track record in both scientific writing and legal documentation.

• Skills
oStrong understanding of patent law and technical domains (EV, renewable energy, AI, software).
oExcellent writing, analytical, and communication skills.
oAbility to balance scientific accuracy with legal precision.
