- Lead and manage the engineering department supporting high-volume, high-tolerance deep draw metal manufacturing operations.
- Utilize Solid Works to design, develop, and improve deep drawn metal components and tooling.
- Oversee materials compliance programs including IMDS, Full Material Disclosures, Conflict Minerals, and extended minerals reporting.
- Ensure compliance with environmental and regulatory standards including REACH, RoHS, PFAS, Cal Prop
65, and GADSL. - Manage supplier compliance, banned substance tracking, and materials documentation.
- Maintain precious metals accounting and ensure full material traceability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, quality enhancement, and process optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with manufacturing, quality, and operations teams to integrate engineering solutions into production.
- Establish scalable engineering processes and support long-term operational excellence.
- Lead, mentor, and develop engineering team members.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 5+ years of experience in deep draw metal manufacturing within a high-volume production environment.
- Strong proficiency with Solid Works.
- In-depth knowledge of materials and environmental compliance regulations.
- Experience managing supplier compliance and precious metals accounting.
- Proven leadership experience in an engineering or manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, or related field) preferred, or 10+ years of equivalent engineering experience.
- Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing environment.
