Golden Nozzle Car Wash is seeking an Assistant Manager who will work with and for the location manager who will provide a hands‑on training approach to learn the job of being an assistant manager of the car wash location. Assistant managers receive on the job training and will learn how all aspects of the car wash works.
Job duties & responsibilities- Provide excellent service to customers using our customer service model.
- Be able to follow a sales model and work with the crew to do the same.
- Work in an outdoor fast paced customer focused environment.
- Monitor employee behavior and enforce compliance with safety rules, policies, and procedures.
- Hands‑on management and lead by example.
- Enjoy team building including training and developing employees.
- Performs daily and weekly equipment assessments to monitor wash performance and identify any necessary repairs.
- Monitors site operations and provides guidance in troubleshooting any problem areas which includes resolution of customer complaints
- Ensures site is stocked with appropriate inventory of necessary items
- Be able to perform basic preventative maintenance
- Ensure the safety, cleanliness, and attractiveness of the facility
- Ensures the site operates in compliance with all OSHA requirements, applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
- Perform other related duties as required.
- Able to stand for long periods of time.
- Able to work in heat and/or cold.
- Fast paced and physical.
- Must have reliable transportation to get to work
- Excellent communication, organizational and leadership skills
- Able to work up to a 45 hour work week including one day on the weekend.
- Must be able to lift/push/carry up to 50 pounds at times.
- Previous management experience preferred.
- HS diploma or equivalent required
- Basic computer and Microsoft Office skills preferred
