Responsibilities
  • Assist with daily operations of the assigned store, from merchandising to supporting customers.
  • Maintain a clean, welcoming environment.
  • Cross‑trained to support the cash register and switch to front‑end duties as needed.
  • Receive merchandise, unload trucks, and process freight safely in accordance with productivity standards.
  • Merchandise and stock as needed.
  • Assist with cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable.
  • Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
  • Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
  • Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
  • Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents required.
  • Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
  • Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills required.
  • Strong problem‑solving and decision‑making skills required.
  • High level of integrity required.
  • Proficiency in basic math for cash accounting required.
