Effective School Solutions (ESS) is a leading provider of school‑based mental health services for K‑12 students, serving over 6,000 students across 12 states. Our mission is to bring the level of clinical care typically found in private practice directly into public schools. The salary for this position starts at $70,000.

What we’re looking for: A passionate, mission‑aligned clinician to provide clinical services to a small group of students with significant behavioral and emotional needs within public schools.

Expected benefits

Responsibilities
  • Provide group, individual, and family therapy for students
  • Deliver evidence‑based interventions supporting emotional and academic stability
  • Engage families through programming and parent support groups
  • Coordinate care and referrals to appropriate services as needed
  • Collaborate with school and ESS teams to support student success
Qualifications
  • At least 2 years of experience working with children or adolescents with behavioral or emotional challenges
  • Licensed in social work (LMHC or LICSW) in the state of service
  • Strong communication, problem‑solving, and documentation skills
  • Experience working in or with school settings preferred
