- To receive calls from physicians' offices, enter appropriate information on the computer to obtain an appointment for the patient for test(s).
- To obtain necessary information so that pre-certification, medical necessity, and insurance verification can be obtained prior to patient arrival.
- To cross train with the pre-registrar and fill in. Coordinates procedures between the patient, physician, and the clinical department.
- Provides customer service and clerical support for the department.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Education
:
High School or Equivalent
Experience
: 1 yr medical experience.
