Material Coordinator - Thomaston, GA 1st Shift

Ranew's Companies is seeking a Material Coordinator to join our team in Thomaston, GA. Material Flow Coordinators are responsible for organizing, sorting and transferring raw and painted materials from one location to another both internally and externally. They are a critical part of the operations and the success of this facility, serving as the first and final touchpoint for all materials before they reach the end customer.

We are looking for a self‑motivated, team‑oriented individual who is eager to learn and passionate about providing excellent customer service.

Location: Thomaston, GA
Salary: $TDB / hour (starting pay is based on experience and shift)
Job Type: Full‑Time | 1st Shift

Responsibilities
  • Organize incoming and outgoing products.
  • Create a continuous flow of raw parts to the production line according to the production schedule.
  • Confirm blueprint accuracy.
  • Collaborate with the Quality Department for any paint or quality concerns.
  • Maintain inventory through organizing, cleaning, and cataloging regularly.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot inventory discrepancies.
  • Communicate clearly with other shifts.
  • Support and resolve customer concerns and complaints to ensure excellent service.
  • Answer internal and external calls and emails.
  • Maintain a clean work area and uphold safety policies.
  • Notify supervisor of any existing or potential safety issues.
  • Participate in cross‑training as needed to meet department requirements.
Qualifications
  • Self‑motivated with strong teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing environments.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Basic understanding of inventory management systems.
  • Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities.
  • Commitment to safety and company policies.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation (if required).
