Store Associate

Position Summary

Retail Store Associates play a meaningful role within the CVS Health family. They help shape the future of health care for people, businesses, and communities by providing customer-focused support in a leading retail setting.

• Provide differentiated customer service by anticipating needs, demonstrating compassion, and resolving potential issues.
• Offer a warm, friendly greeting, maintain eye contact, and assist customers in locating items.
• Accurately perform cashier duties, handling cash, checks, and credit card transactions in compliance with policies.
• Maintain the sales floor through restocking shelves, checking vendor deliveries, updating pricing, and completing inventory tasks.
• Support opening and closing store activities as needed.
• Provide support to all departments, including photo and beauty, ensuring they are fully stocked and operational.
• Assist pharmacy personnel, including working regular shifts in the pharmacy as part of growth opportunities.
• Embrace and advocate for new CVS services and loyalty programs.

• At least 16 years of age.
• Visual acuity sufficient to view computer terminals and read small details.

• Previous experience in a retail or customer service setting.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Remain upright on feet for extended periods.
• Lifting up to 35lbs occasionally, up to 10lbs frequently, and light lifting regularly.
• Perform overhead lifting as needed.

The typical pay range for this part‑time role is $15.00–$18.00 per hour. The actual offer depends on experience, education, geography, and other factors.
