Midstates Petroleum Company () is looking for a Sales Operations Representative to report to our Thomasville AL office. The Sales Operations Representative serves as a key link between customers, sales, and internal operations. This role is responsible for managing customer accounts, supporting sales activities, conducting on-site facility visits, monitoring and counting inventory, and assisting with account collections. The position requires strong organizational skills, customer relationship management, and the ability to work independently in the field and in the office.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and support assigned customer accounts to ensure satisfaction and retention
• Conduct regular on-site visits to customer facilities
• Perform physical inventory counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies
• Identify sales opportunities and support upselling or cross-selling efforts
• Process orders, quotes, and sales documentation
• Assist with collections by following up on outstanding accounts receivable
• Maintain accurate customer, inventory, and sales records in company systems
• Coordinate with internal teams (sales, operations, accounting) to resolve issues
• Monitor contract compliance, pricing, and service levels
• Prepare reports related to sales activity, inventory levels, and customer accounts
