Operations Manager, Supply Chain / Intl. Trade
Reports To: Director of Purchasing and Inventory
Cleaver-Brooks is seeking a hands‑on, analytical Procurement Manager to oversee Production Operations at our Thomasville, GA manufacturing facility. This role balances day‑to‑day execution with strategic thinking, ensuring materials are available when and where they are needed while driving efficiency, cost savings, and supplier performance.

- Lead procurement strategy for Thomasville production with a forward‑looking, data‑driven approach.
- Proactively identify trends, risks, and opportunities related to demand, supply, cost, and inventory.
- Ensure timely, accurate, and cost‑effective procurement of materials supporting production operations.
- Determine optimal product placement strategies, including stock and dropship.
- Maintain strong supplier relationships and ensure adherence to terms and conditions.
- Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and excess.
- Track, analyze, and report procurement KPIs using Excel and business intelligence tools (Power BI a plus).
- Build, coach, and develop a high‑performing procurement team focused on future leadership readiness.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field is preferred.
Experience:
- 5+ years of progressive procurement or supply chain experience, including people leadership.
- Proven results in developing and growing a high‑performing team.
Skills & Capabilities:
- Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel.
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into actionable plans.
- Power BI or other data visualization experience preferred.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
