Our client, a growing $750M+ manufacturing organization, is seeking an experienced Vice President Finance & Corporate Controller to lead financial reporting, controllership, FP&A, tax, payroll, and plant accounting operations. This executive-level role partners closely with senior leadership to drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and strategic decision-making across a multi-site environment.
Reporting directly to the SVP of Finance, Accounting & IT, this leader will play a critical role in strengthening internal controls, improving financial visibility, and supporting the company’s long-term growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Lead all corporate controllership and financial reporting functions
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and capital planning activities
- Direct tax, payroll, plant accounting, and internal control operations
- Ensure compliance with financial reporting standards, tax regulations, and corporate governance requirements
- Drive company-wide JSOX compliance and internal control initiatives
- Develop financial analysis and insights to support executive decision-making
- Partner with operational leadership to improve business performance and financial discipline
- Establish and maintain accounting policies, procedures, and risk management controls
- Lead and mentor high-performing finance and accounting teams
- Manage financial reporting and budgeting systems, including One Stream
- Support strategic initiatives, including potential M&A integration efforts
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
- CPA strongly preferred
- MBA or advanced business degree is a plus
- 12+ years of progressive finance and accounting leadership experience
- Manufacturing industry experience required
- Strong background in financial reporting, controllership, cost accounting, and internal controls
- Experience leading multi-site finance operations and cross-functional teams
- IFRS and multinational reporting experience preferred
- M&A and integration experience is a plus
