Associate Desktop Support Analyst – IS Desktop Support Education Requirements

Requires High School Diploma. BAA, AA, or technical diploma preferred.

Minimum 1 year desktop support experience and a CompTIA A+ certification OR Minimum 3 years desktop support experience and must obtain CompTIA A+ certification within 1 year of employment.

Troubleshoot, analyze, and resolve desktop computer and printer problems; correct and report any anomalies.

Significant amount of standing, walking, sitting, talking, listening, reaching with hands and arms. Able to transfer up to 50 pounds; risk of electrical shock. Must travel to various system locations. Work may involve physically demanding tasks in cramped areas. Requires good hearing, visual acuity, and manual dexterity. Requires concentration on fine details for extended periods with constant interruptions. Must be able to pick up new tasks with minimal training.

Prolonged or irregular hours such as weekends and after-hours are occasionally required. Work may be scheduled in rotating shifts.
