Clinicals Lead Analyst – IS Clinical Services Responsibilities
Under the direction of an IS Manager or IS Director, the Lead Systems Analyst assists with system administration, system security, system configuration, issue resolution, data mining and testing activities. The Lead Systems Analyst will be required to lead multiple small to large projects, coordinating resources across the entire organization. The Lead Systems Analyst is required to deliver formal presentations to organization management and project teams on accomplishments, issues and solution alternatives.
The Lead Systems Analyst is expected to mentor others within the team. The Lead Systems Analyst will work with Information Services leadership to create the initial Annual Performance Appraisals and will be expected to participate in the face-to-face review of these appraisals. The Lead Analyst will work with an IS Manager or Director to monitor work assignments of team members, provide feedback to the manager on employee performance, recommend adjustment of workloads, etc.
All work activities including projects, trouble calls, customer requests and customer change requests regarding computer hardware, computer software, application software, networking and telecommunications will be entered into the SDPlus system accurately and in a timely manner.
- Understands intermediate Soarian Financials system configuration and design
- Possesses an intermediate understanding of Microsoft desktop and server technologies
- Possesses a comprehensive understanding of Microsoft Office Suite
- Keeps his/her knowledge up to date with financial sector developments
- Effectively applies SDLC (System Design Life Cycle)
- Effectively utilizes business process analytical skills
- Partners with business owners to define and implement optimal workflows and system solutions
- Interacts on a frequent basis with external and internal clients
- Translates requirements of the client into highly technical specifications
- Prepares proposals for the business owner’s review
- Possesses the skills to develop, organize and prepare comprehensive project plans
- Possesses the skills to develop RFIs and RFPs
- Possesses effective verbal and written communication skills
- Efficiently utilizes time management skills
- Maintains a positive attitude
- Possesses effective organizational skills
- Promotes effective teamwork
- Possesses strong customer service skills
- Must take initiative
- Takes a proactive approach in problem solving and issue resolution
- Has a thorough understanding of the business owner’s operations and systems
- Able to perform in a leadership role
- Acts as a mentor to other Analysts
Requires high school diploma. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or related field preferred. A minimum of 5 years' experience in Information Technology or equivalent experience in a related field. Experience in Healthcare IT is preferred.
