- Receive, inspect, and log incoming inventory, ensuring accuracy against purchase orders.
- Organize and maintain the physical inventory storage area, ensuring parts are easily accessible and properly stored.
- Take photos of inventory and keep an up-to-date log on the website.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory checks to reconcile discrepancies.
- Monitor inventory levels and proactively reorder parts to prevent stockouts and minimize excess inventory.
- Assist the service department in locating parts for repairs and addressing any part-related inquiries.
- Update inventory records in the management system promptly and accurately.
- Identify and report damaged or defective parts.
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to resolve any inventory or delivery issues.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in inventory management, preferably in an automotive setting.
- Familiarity with automotive parts and terminology.
- Proficiency in inventory management software and general computer applications (e.g., Microsoft Office Suite).
- Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
