Assembler - Insulation​/Jacket

Overview

Cleaver-Brooks is looking for an Assembler – Insulation/Jacket to join our team in Thomasville, GA.

Job Location:

• Insulation and Jacketing of Boilers
• Tubing and Hydro of Boilers
• Must know, understand and abide by all safety rules
• All other duties as assigned

Must be at least 18 years of age

Work requires a few simple, but rapid, hand operations; work requires some lifting and pushing/pulling of material as required to count, sort, reconcile, prepare, put away or ship parts. Typical weights range from 1 to 65 pounds; ability to lift up to 65 lbs. 40" high and up to 50 lbs. overhead on a regular basis. Ability to stand for up to 12 hours and walk on hard cement surfaces.

Regular bending, stretching, stooping, and squatting. Ability to read a tape measure and read/interpret blueprints, safety rules, operating procedures and maintenance instructions. Ability to climb stairs and ladders and work in varying temperature ranges. Ability to access all areas of the plant, indoors and outdoors. Exposure to noise, dust, dirt, welding fumes and machine lubricants/oils. Must be able and willing to use all necessary personal protective equipment including safety glasses, hearing protection, steel-toed shoes, and hard hats.

Operates material handling equipment.
