OverviewThe Bread Moulder Machine Operator operates sheeters and moulders, ensures dough pieces are the correct size and length, and deposits dough into pans accurately. The position requires demonstrated competency in all on-the-job activities that may affect product safety, legality, and quality.
Responsibilities- Set up equipment according to standards (sheeter rollers, flour sifters settings, guide rails, plow settings, pan guides, etc.).
- Ensure dough pieces are the proper size and length according to standards.
- Ensure proper sheeting, moulding, and paning per production standards.
- Remove all double dough pieces from pans.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area and GMPs.
- Practice and comply with all company policies and procedures including safety and work rules.
- Ensure compliance with company policies (EEO, Sexual Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes-Oxley, etc.).
- Perform other duties deemed integral by management, including fulfillment of work schedules and attendance adherence.
- Meet/maintain CDC food handling requirements and other governmental or customer requirements.
- 1 or more years of production experience in an industrial food manufacturing facility, preferably in bread production.
- Physical ability to stand 8 to 16 hours.
- Ability to stoop and bend while lifting up to 20 lbs.
- Ability to climb a 20-foot stepladder carrying up to 20 lbs and reach to drop into a hopper.
- Ability to move wheeled containers weighing up to 500 lbs a distance of 300 feet.
- Hearing and vision sufficient to detect malfunctions and distinguish color-coded equipment, controls, labels, alarms, and signs.
- No educational prerequisite; ability to read, comprehend, and record information applicable to the job.
Salary Range: $22.97 - $24.56 hourly
