Medical–Surgical Registered Nurse – Oncology Floor (Travel Assignment)
Thomasville, GA Day Shift | 3×12 Hours | 07:00–19:00 | 13 Weeks
Position OverviewA Med‑Surg RN is needed for a 13‑week day‑shift assignment on an Oncology‑focused Medical‑Surgical unit. This unit manages higher patient ratios, so candidates must be comfortable with fast‑paced workloads and independent practice. Oncology experience is highly preferred, and previous travel experience is beneficial.
Schedule & Shift Requirements- Start Date: February 23, 2026
- Shift: 3×12‑hour days, 07:00–19:00
- Weekends: Every other weekend
- Call: Not required
- Block Scheduling: Considered
- RTO: Minimal to none; must be submitted at time of profile
- Contract Length: 13 weeks
- Patient Ratios: 1:6 or 1:7
- Experience with higher ratios required
- Patient Population: General Med‑Surg with Oncology focus
- EMR: Cerner & Soarian
- Scrubs: Royal blue (not provided)
- Minimum 1 year recent Med‑Surg RN experience
- Must be proficient in:
- Telemetry monitoring
- IV starts
- Oncology experience highly preferred
- Must be able to work independently in a high‑volume environment
- Previous travel experience preferred
- First‑time travelers accepted if meeting experience requirements
- BLS (AHA)
