Archbold seeks Nurse Externs for the Nurse Education program. Students work under a preceptor, assist with patient care including assessments, ADLs, toileting and feeding, and rotate through ICU, IMCU, CPU, 5 North, 6 North, 7 North, NET, and ED during the first six months.
During the final six months, externs are placed in a unit of their choice if possible; candidates may be ADN graduates after Fundamentals or BSN students in their senior year.
