American Traveler is hiring an experienced Med/Surg RN for a day shift assignment requiring prior travel nursing experience and charge nurse skills.

• Work in the Medical Surgical unit of a hospital setting
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Day shift schedule (4x12 hours, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM)
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• Floating required
• Uses Soarian EMR
• 13-week assignment with possible extension

• Active RN license (GA or Compact) required in hand
• Current certifications: BLS required; ACLS and NIHSS preferred
• Minimum 2 years recent Med/Surg experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Charge nurse experience required
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, LTAC, and Trauma Level I experience preferred

• Royal blue scrubs required (not provided)
• Minimal to no RTO accepted, especially around holidays
• Must reside more than 30 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Candidates residing 31-50 miles from the facility will be accepted at a reduced local rate
• Up to 8 hours of non-billable orientation modules required prior to start, completed through Health Stream
