DescriptionAmerican Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring at least 2 years of recent ICU experience and critical care skills such as ventilator and Swan-Ganz management.
Details- Work in the ICU of a hospital setting
- 13-week assignment with possibility of extension
- Every other weekend (EOW) required
- Possible floating to IMCU or CPU
- Holiday coverage required
- Uses Cerner/Soarian EMR
- Active GA or compact RN license required
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Minimum 2 years of recent ICU experience required
- Experience with ventilator management required
- Experience with ICP monitoring required
- Experience with telemetry and cardiac dysrhythmia interpretation/management required
- Experience with pulmonary artery (Swan-Ganz) line monitoring required
- Experience with intra-aortic balloon pumps required
- Cerner/Soarian EMR experience preferred
- Royal blue scrubs required (not provided by facility)
- Proof of residence via driver's license and NURSYS required for radius verification
- Provide critical care nursing to ICU patients, including management of ventilators, ICP monitoring, and hemodynamic lines
- Minimal to no RTO accepted, especially around holidays
- Travel pairs are not accepted for this position
- Candidates residing within 30 miles of the facility will not be considered
- Candidates residing 31-50 miles from the facility will be considered at a reduced local rate
- First-time travelers may be considered with sufficient ICU experience
