Cleaver Brooks is looking for a Quality Inspector – Final Assembly to join our team in Thomasville, GA
. The Quality Inspector will work side by side with Manufacturing and Engineering to ensure compliance to Cleaver Brooks’ designs, ASME standards, and customer requirements. Some high-level troubleshooting is sometimes required to ensure a quality product is delivered to the customer.

Thomasville, GA

• Inspect material (raw material, purchase parts, work-in-process, etc.) for conformance to drawings/specifications.
• Take corrective action, where necessary, when nonconformance is found.
• Educate and instruct plant personnel in required Quality Assurance processes/procedures and confirm these procedures are maintained.
• Assist with disposition and documentation of nonconforming material.
• Consult with plant management and personnel on better operational procedures to improve overall safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
• Problem solving/root cause analysis and implementation of corrective actions.
• Function as an information source for all personnel when quality issues arise.
• Participate in ISO and ASME audits (both internal and external).
• Complete ASME Data Reports, as required.
• Assist with calibration schedules and procedures for critical gauges/equipment.

• 3+ years of experience working in a manufacturing facility
• Prefer to have experience reading mechanical drawings and/or wiring diagrams
• Microsoft Office and ERP experience a plus

• Work performed in both office and manufacturing floor environments, including exposure to welding, machining, and fabrication operations.
• Exposure to moderately disagreeable conditions or minor hazards; proper PPE required.
• Limited physical demands; involves routine movement and light handling of materials.
