General Manager

Position Summary:

The General Manager owns the entire store- people, sales performance, operations, and guest experience. This role is accountable for hitting budget, developing leaders, and ensures value is driven through a guest-centric experience.

Job Duties:

  • Sales Leadership & Floor Execution (Including Ups Management)
  • Customer Experience & Guest Support
  • Inventory Management, Promotion Control, & Cash Handling
  • Facilities & Building Oversight
  • Culture Management & Communication (Including Huddle Leadership)
  • Store Operations & Standards
  • Talent Development & Coaching
  • Scheduling & Team Management (Including Conflict Management)
  • Training & Performance Management
  • KPI Reporting & Management Meetings

Required Qualifications:

Education:

High school diploma or equivalent, required. College degree, preferred.

Experience:

3–5 years of retail leadership experience in high-volume or furniture retail environment, required.

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

Physical Demands:
Standing/walking for extended periods; occasional lifting.

Work Environment:
Retail Sales Floor

Schedule:

Weekdays, Weekends, and Holidays, as required.
