Industrial Maintenance Technician

This role ensures optimal efficiency by performing scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on bakery equipment, maintaining safety and quality standards, and seeking ongoing training to keep up with evolving technologies.

• Demonstrate safe work habits, proper tool selection and usage, and general shop practices
• Maintain knowledge of maintenance tasks and critical equipment components and operational sequencing
• Carry out electrical welding, gas welding, cutting, soldering, pipe fittings, and metal fabrication (milling and lathe)
• Identify and inspect mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic components, and rebuild mechanical drive components such as clutches and brakes
• Verify and correct mechanical timing, perform proper lubrication, and conduct preventive maintenance on specific equipment
• Identify mechanical wear, troubleshoot, and replace mechanical drive and conveyor components
• Use SAP software for parts checkout, reporting, and general data entry
• Practice learned knowledge of environmental and maintenance programs and maintain a clean, safe work environment
• Practice and comply with all company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes‑Oxley, etc.)
• Perform other duties as deemed by management, including fulfillment of work schedules and attendance policies
• Obtain required licenses to work with boilers, refrigeration components, and other equipment as applicable

• At least 1 year of experience as a technician in heating, ventilation, air conditioning, welding, electrical, industrial equipment, automotive repairs, or related field

• High school diploma or equivalent;
  Technical/Trade School certification or diploma is a plus

Salary Range: $26.68 - $27.85 per hour
