• Eliminate outdated PLC, HMI, drives, servos, and other electrical components in plant equipment.
• Work with the plant engineer to identify equipment needing updates and determine upgrade order.
• Order hardware, install, and program required upgrades to supported hardware.
• Lead technicians in installing conduit, hardware, and rewiring for upgrades.
• Assist maintenance team with electrical/programming troubleshooting of equipment and respond to breakdowns during off hours when necessary.
• Train supervisors and hourly technicians to operate PLC, read logic, and troubleshoot electrical problems.
• Train maintenance technicians on inspecting, repairing, and cleaning electrical panels of assigned equipment.
• Install, maintain, and troubleshoot Bakery Of the Future (BOF) systems, IoT/smart sensors, and other BOF equipment. Continue working with BOF teams, IT and Continuous Improvement teams.
• Other responsibilities may include:

• Control system design
• PLC programming
• Electrical design
• Design/programming of human‑machine interfaces (HMI)
• Troubleshooting of electrical, PLC, and HMI systems
• Interfacing with real‑time database applications to manage critical production information
• Supporting project proposals and estimation
• Preparing functional specifications
• Assisting with equipment selection and procurement
• Site commissioning and installation
• Performing other duties as assigned by Project Manager
• On‑call service/support for existing installations

• Proficiency in programming using RS500, RS5000, Factory Talk, Connected Components Workbench to program, troubleshoot, and access Allen‑Brady PLC, HMI, VFDs, and servos.
• Understanding of control system architecture, including network, server, PLCs, and workstations.
• Good knowledge of instrumentation and control, configuration, fault finding and installation standards.
• Technical knowledge of Fieldbus technology and data communication systems.
• Ability to install, configure and set up field instrumentation, field networks, PLCs, HMIs and SCADA.
• Sound experience in PLCs (Siemens, Rockwell or OPTO 22), Inductive Automation Ignition, and Canary Labs Historian.
• In‑depth knowledge of control and automation standards and ability to interpret and implement best practices.
• In‑depth knowledge of developing, building, and maintaining batching systems.

• Associate’s degree required.

Salary range: $90,000 – $110,000. The position also includes a competitive total rewards package. Please reply by 8/8/2026.
