Social Services Tech Supervisor

Job Summary:

Georgia Pines Community Service Board is a public, not-for-profit organization with an annual budget of $25M and a diverse workforce of 300 direct-care and support staff. The selected applicant will have the pleasure of supervising, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff in a residential program. May supervise a broad range of social services proved to individuals. Conducts intakes, participates in treatment planning, and performs crisis intervention. Assists in dealing with personal and social problems. May provide supportive counseling to individuals and families and/or serve as a liaison for social services.

This position is an integral part of the agency's Mental Health Residential program and reports directly to the Team Lead with appropriate latitude for utilizing seasoned judgment to accomplish his/her responsibilities.

High school diploma or GED and four years' experience in a social service-related position which includes one year in a lead worker, team leader, or supervisory role Or One year at the lower level (SST
3) or position equivalent.

Position requires a valid driver's license.
