Manager of Transportation

Overview

The Manager of Transportation provides analysis and reporting on logistics performance, forecasts, and KPI data to support company leadership and the Logistics departments. This role tracks network, regional, channel, and carrier performance indicators and collaborates with the Digital Domain Lead, Digital Logistics for tool performance and development.

• Analyze and support key business drivers related to logistics
• Provide weekly, period, quarterly, and annual KPI reporting of logistics performance
• Interact with bakery, regional, and corporate levels to provide analytical logistics performance data
• Research and assist the implementation of innovative technologies
• Assist in preparation of key carrier forecasting
• Create and maintain dashboards using various Business Intelligence (BI) tools
• Assist in data preparation for leadership meetings
• Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the carrier community at all times
• Collaborate effectively with multiple stakeholders across the organization
• Adapt to different work settings as required by schedule
• Practice and comply with all Company policies and procedures (EEO, Harassment, Safety, Sarbanes Oxley, etc.)
• Perform other duties deemed by management to be an integral part of the job, including work schedules, attendance, and other applicable operating rules, policies and procedures

• Minimum of 2 years of related transportation experience

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience

Salary Range: $75,000 – $85,000. Benefits may vary depending on work location.
