Liability Claims Representative

Review new liability claims and set initial reserves, organize files and scan documents into the liability claims system (BIPD).

• Review liability accident information entered into the liability claims system for accuracy
• Communicate with service center personnel regarding any issues or missing information with entering claims information into the liability claims system
• Organize the placement of files, photographs and documents for maximum efficiency including filing and scanning of documents in the liability claims system
• Review information contained in police reports and advise safety of needed placement on the DOT list
• Set initial property damage reserves based on review of information and determine which claims have subrogation potential
• Maintain all closed files and coordinate disposal when appropriate
• Order police reports from various law enforcement agencies nationwide

Education:

• High school diploma or equivalent

Experience:

• Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Self-motivated, team player
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet mandatory deadlines

Working Days: Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday

Working Shift: AM / PM
