High Point, NC | $65,000-$75,000
A growing, family-owned manufacturer is hiring a hands-on Product Design Engineer to drive innovative furniture development from concept through production. This is a high-impact role where your work directly shapes final products in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
What You'll Do:
* Design and develop furniture components including frames, foam, and mechanisms
* Create detailed CAD models and drawings using Solid Works and AutoCAD
* Partner with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into manufacturable products
* Support prototype builds, testing, and product refinement
* Improve designs for assembly, efficiency, and production scalability
What We're Looking For:
* Experience in product development (furniture experience strongly preferred)
* Strong CAD skills:
Solid Works, AutoCAD
* Mechanically minded with design-for-manufacturing expertise
* Comfortable in a fast-moving environment with shifting priorities
* Hands-on approach with ability to support prototyping
