Novant Health is seeking a Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist to join our REMARKABLE acute care team.

• ARRT (R)(MR) or (MR) certification (registered within 6 months of hire)
• Prior acute care experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail

Education:

High School Diploma or GED, required. Graduate of ARRT‑approved Radiography Program or MR Program, required. 2 Year / Associate Degree, preferred.

Experience:

Minimum of one year of experience in MR, preferred.

Licensure/Certification: NH Medical Center‑Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR) within 6 months of hire, required. NH Independent Diagnostic Testing Facility – Certified and Registered within 6 months of hire in ARRT RT(R)(MR), required. Hospital Outpatient Department‑Certified and registered by ARRT in MR – RT(R)(MR) or RT(MR), required. Refer to the Life Support Training Policy NH‑HR‑3096 for life support training requirement, required.

Applicable state license, required.

Additional Skills (required):
Thorough knowledge of MRI imaging equipment, analytical ability and basic computer skills. Ability to interpret information to identify each patient’s requirements for care relative to his/her age‑specific needs. Good communication skills.
