Overview
We are looking for a Technical Support Specialist to support the fleet of PCs, laptops, and Thin Client devices, providing imaging, maintenance, and third‑level support.
Primary Responsibilities- Address and respond to customer inquiries on technical products and services, including installation, operational functions, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
- Provide customers with preventative maintenance and configuration recommendations to improve product usability, performance, and customer satisfaction.
- Maintain system images using available imaging tools and build or prepare new system images for hardware roll‑outs.
- Reimage systems after hardware failures and handle warranty and non‑warranty parts replacements.
- Maintain records of all repairs, shipping, and equipment information in the Service Desk ticketing solution.
- Provide third‑level technical support and diagnose and repair Windows Desktop software.
- Install software as required, scan for and remediate security vulnerabilities, and recommend proven remediations for broader audiences.
- Maintain an asset list of retired or recycled inventory and provide updates to leadership on trends or recurring issues with hardware and software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- At least three years of experience providing technical support.
- Knowledge of major computer brands, their warranty processes, and replacement policies.
- Knowledge of software, technologies, and applications.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
