Facility Technician

Overview

Clean Harbors is seeking a dedicated Facility Technician at our Thomasville, NC facility. The role involves moving and placing waste from Clean Harbors’ facilities and direct generators. The Truck-To-Truck Technician will ship waste on trailers, ensuring proper load securement, accurate material scanning, and correct paperwork.

Shift: 1st 6am-6pm

Pay: $20 per hour

• Pay attention to detail and manage & organize multiple tasks
• Communicate professionally one-on-one or via email
• Operate forklift (required)
• Perform warehouse and logistics duties, including loading and offloading trucks
• Handle material, receiving, sorting, and processing
• Report and assist with any issues at the facility promptly to the Direct Manager/GM, Health & Safety Manager, or Compliance Manager
• Maintain DOT training and knowledge of regulations
• Maintain manifest training and knowledge of regulations
• Use Windows based applications proficiently

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• Must be 18 years or older
• 1+ years of related experience
• Forklift experience
• Ability to use a computer
• Ability to lift 50 or more pounds
