Production Operator – Batching Operator

Primarily responsible for setting up, mixing, and/or delivering production chemicals used in manufacturing or process areas where accuracy of chemical composition is important for process operation.

• Learn about the raw materials used in the batch-making process
• Add raw materials and verify them in kettles
• Weigh and verify oil
• Scrap kettles properly
• Verify pigment
• Operate forklift as needed
• Stage rework

• Ability to work with limited supervision
• Willingness to contribute to continuous improvement
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English for training and safety purposes
• Ability to work an 8‑hour shift and overtime as needed
• Ability to understand and communicate sufficiently in English to perform safe job duties, follow work instructions, understand safety requirements, and respond to emergencies
• Willingness to take on new assignments or tasks as needed
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Starting pay: $21.00 per hour
