Production Operator – Batching Operator
Primarily responsible for setting up, mixing, and/or delivering production chemicals used in manufacturing or process area where accuracy of chemical composition is important in process operation.
- Learn about the needed raw materials used in batch making process
- Add raw and verify materials to kettles
- Add and verify oil weigh-up
- Properly perform scrapping of kettle
- Properly verify pigment
- Operate forklift as needed
- Stage rework
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work with limited supervision
- Willingness to contribute to a continuous improvement environment
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Experience in a plant/manufacturing environment, preferred
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English for training/safety purposes
- Ability to work an 8-hour shift and overtime as needed
- Ability to understand and communicate in English sufficiently to safely perform job duties, follow work instructions, understand safety requirements, and respond to emergency situations
- Must be willing to take on new assignments/job tasks as needed
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
$21.00 per hour
