This assignment places you within a renowned academic medical center recognized for its leadership in clinical education and advanced patient care. The Pediatric Oncology/Hematology and Adolescent Medicine units prioritize collaboration, continuous learning, and mutual support. As part of a Level 1 Trauma and Stroke Center, you’ll gain exposure to innovative protocols, complex pediatric cases, and diverse leadership approaches, helping you to grow both professionally and personally.
Schedule/Hours- 7a-7p shifts
- Schedule cycle: every 6 weeks
- Weekend rotation: every other weekend
- No on call requirement
- Travelers work 75% of holiday assignments

- RN licensure (NC or compact)
- At least 1 year of acute Pediatric Hem/Onc experience required
- BLS required; PALS preferred
- APHON chemo certification required
- Strong central line management, chemo administration, and pediatric assessment/critical thinking skills
- EPIC EMR, Alaris IV pumps, Omnicell medications
- Deliver evidence-based care to pediatric hem/oncology and adolescent medicine patients
- Manage central lines and administer chemotherapy
- Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist
- Participate in safety rounding and coordinate care transitions
- Float as needed between PHO, PAA, and other pediatric units (excluding Peds ED)
