Expedited Specialist 12:30pm -9:00pm

Always provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers. Assist less experienced employees with customer issues and help drive team performance.

• Manage large amounts of inbound and outbound calls and emails regarding Expedited services in a timely manner
• Daily monitoring of Expedited shipments to ensure they meet promised delivery dates
• Quote and book expedited shipments in a timely manner
• Edit existing orders with Expedited upgrades
• Provide accurate information regarding expedited shipments to both internal and external customers
• Provide Service 2.OD to all internal and external customers
• Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by going the extra mile

• Education:
  
  High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience:
  
  5 years customer service experience in a transportation company
• Understanding of the trucking and tariffs
• Strong phone and verbal communication skills along with active listening skills
• Ability to deal with different types of personalities and effectively handle high-stress situations in a calm manner
• Ability to negotiate and secure shipments based on set guidelines
• Demonstrated proficiency with Office programs, such as Outlook, Excel, and Word

Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday,Thursday,Friday

Working Shift: Afternoon Work days/shifts may change based on scheduling and business needs and are provided as guidelines at the time of posting.
