Position: View Royal Parks Supervisor Role
Join the Town of View Royal as a Parks Supervisor, overseeing essential park services and maintenance. Drive project management initiatives and enhance community parks and trails.

This role focuses on maintaining the parks and facilities while collaborating closely with the Director of Engineering. You will oversee maintenance programs, repair work, and coordinate capital projects within budget and scope. Additionally, you will support the Parks Workers, perform inspections, and respond to service calls to ensure park safety and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate annual maintenance and landscaping tasks

• Maintain and repair Town Hall vehicles and equipment

• Conduct project management duties for capital projects

• Recommend operational changes for improved service

• Manage on-call staff and emergency issues

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience

• Certified in irrigation, playground inspection, and pesticide use

• B.C. Class 5 Driver’s License required
