A. Duie Pyle is seeking an experienced, motivated full-time Dedicated CDL‑A Qualified Yard Jockey in Thompson, CT. This role requires moving trucks from yard to building and back and maneuvering trucks into loading or unloading positions as needed, also running between plants as needed.
- Earn $29.00 per hour
- Weekly pay every Friday via direct deposit – overtime after 40 hours
- Start time - 11:00 AM, Monday to Friday and Saturdays if needed.

- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License
- Minimum 1 year of recent CDL‑A experience, van type trailer preferred
- Previous Jockey or Switcher experience, preferred
- Currently hold, or obtain, a non‑exempt interstate DOT medical card
- Must be at least 21 years of age or older
- No more than three moving violations and or accidents within the last three years, subject to review
- Ability to communicate effectively; must be able to read, write and speak English
- Must be able to obtain and maintain TSA security clearance
- Moving trailers around the terminal to various locations
- Maneuvering the truck into loading and or unloading positions
- Visually inspecting trailers and or trucks before and after moving each
- Connecting tractors to trailers
- Assisting with the unloading and loading of freight as needed
- Maintaining documentation of each trailer moved throughout the assigned shift
