Senior FMCG Procurement Lead: NPD & Vendor Strategy

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organisational goals, APAC demand, and margin targets
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors to optimise cost, quality, and service outcomes
• Establish and track procurement KPIs, including cost savings, contract coverage, service level performance, quality issues, and risk mitigation
• Design vendor selection processes and evaluate potential suppliers based on pricing, specifications, and delivery timelines
• Monitor and assess vendor performance, ensuring continuous improvement and effective supplier partnerships
• Identify cost-saving opportunities and negotiate favourable commercial terms with vendors
• Ensure product quality meets procurement requirements and relevant quality standards
• Review procurement audits, trade documentation, and contract terms to mitigate procurement risks
• Analyse market trends and supplier capabilities to proactively identify risks and opportunities
• Optimise procurement processes to improve efficiency and reduce operational costs
• Support new product development (NPD) commercialisation through supplier feasibility assessment, costing, and trial coordination
• Collaborate with Quality Assurance and Supply Chain teams to ensure supplier readiness, compliance, and launch execution

Requirements:

• More than 10 years of procurement managementexperience inFMCG or a brand owner environment
• Proven track record invendor negotiation, cost optimisation, andsupplier performance management
• Experiencesupporting NPD commercialisation with OEM or contract manufacturers, including feasibility studies, costing, and trial coordination
• Strong project management skillswith the ability tomanage multiple local and regional initiatives concurrently
