Arch Coordinator

Coordinate architectural works with structural, M&E (mechanical & electrical), and site construction activities—ensuring drawings are accurate, buildable, and compliant.

• Review architectural drawings and ensure they align with structural and M&E drawings
• Identify discrepancies, clashes, or missing details
• Liaise with consultants to resolve design issues
• Ensure drawings are updated and issued correctly (latest revisions)

• Work closely with site engineers, supervisors, and subcontractors
• Ensure architectural works are carried out according to drawings and specifications
• Monitor progress and highlight any issues early
• Attend site meetings and coordination meetings

• Ensure works comply with local regulations (e.g., BCA, URA, SCDF requirements in Singapore)

• Resolve site issues such as misalignment between structure and finishes; material or dimension conflicts
• Propose practical solutions with the architect and engineers

• Drawings (shop drawings, as-built drawings)
• RFIs (Requests for Information)
• Site instructions and variation orders
• Prepare coordination reports and track outstanding issues

• Coordinate material submissions (tiles, finishes, fixtures, etc.)
• Ensure materials match design intent and are approved before use
• Work with suppliers and subcontractors

• Check workmanship on site
• Ensure finishes meet architectural standards
• Conduct inspections and rectify defects

• Strong understanding of architectural drawings and detailing
• Knowledge of construction methods
• Good coordination and communication skills
• Familiar with software like AutoCAD, BIM (Revit/Navisworks is a plus)
• Attention to detail and problem‑solving ability
